Full-Time positions include the following benefits:

Mental Health Therapist

Positions based in DeLand

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,760.00 per year.  Salary will increase with licensure.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

Florida Licensed clinical therapist in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health or Clinical Social Work, or license eligible therapist with one year’s experience working with sexually abused children and their families. Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred. Must have valid Florida driver's license, current auto insurance and be approved as a driver by HND’s insurance carrier.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain sufficient caseload to meet the needs of clients and the agency.

  • Meet outcomes and objectives of the assigned program area.

  • Provide legal and ethical delivery, advocating for client rights.

  • Deliver counseling services for individuals and families with a variety of mental health needs.

  • Additional training in trauma counseling in accordance with the Children’s Medical Services Sexual Abuse Treatment Program available.

 

BENEFITS:

Supervision hours for Registered Marriage and Family, Mental Health and Social Work Interns are provided at no cost.

  • 3 weeks of paid time off in your first year of employment, increasing to 5 weeks for years 2 – 5. 10 paid holidays per year.

  • The agency currently pays 86% of employee's health insurance costs, provides a $15,000 life insurance policy and, once you become eligible, matches up to 3% in a Simple IRA.

Contract Therapist--Therapy

Positions based in DeLand

Job Type: Contract Position

Pay: $30 per hour for unlicensed Therapist
       $32 per hour for licensed Therapist

The Contract Therapist position will take cases to provide services in office or on Telehealth depending on the availability of and ability for the client.

 

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Florida Licensed clinical therapist in Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, Mental Health or Psychology preferred.

  • Licensed eligible therapist with more than two years' experience.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct individual and family therapy

  • Complete initial assessment, treatment plan and progress notes

  • Keep schedule current to schedule and allow front end staff to schedule appointments

  • Keep current with state license and CEU requirements

  • Complete all documentation in a timely manner within designated timeframes per policy and procedures
